Welcome to ThunderCats Wiki

I haven't yet looked over most of the edits. But first thing I did note wish you'd not do, {{PAGENAME}} as I've found later edits it becomes a pain. Please just type out the name. I'm also a bit confused by the whole "Snowmen to Snowmen (people)" as Snowmen is by default plural.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  17:01, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Category tags (1)

I'm confused as well about all the {{DEFAULTSORT:"Name"}} edits. I get it when the Article name is possibly out of place on the category pages, but most of the times I see you use it, it didn't deviate from the article title.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  17:20, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

"''For the 80's incarnation, see [[Character Name]].''" are not done anymore. Please see the Guidelines for 1985 ThunderCats (original series); fields "Version" and "Alt Version" were added. They replace the text at the top.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  17:38, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Hello, Devilmanozzy! About the Category tag "Defaultsort" issue, yes, it's better to have the characters in an alphabetical order with the exception of the definite article, such as "Sword of Omens" instead of "The Sword..." or any other similar name case. Also, for the ThunderCats Toylines, it's great this order since I just add the initials of the Toy brand or line at the end of the name, such as (LJN Toyline) Lion-O, (LJN Toyline) Panthro, (LJN Toyline) Tygra and (LJN Toyline) Cheetara, which now have the tag of Lion-O LJN, Panthro LJN, Tygra LJN and Cheetara LJN.

This helps for the category reading when needed, specially now that we have three different TV series, so as to help for navigation or editing purposes. Sorondil (talk) 18:45, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Still trying to figure out what you are doing. This image is not very hopeful...

The image looks to be fanart. Why not a actual screen cap from the show? Why did you default to fanart? If there is one think I never want to see in a Infobox, it is fanart. You also uploaded it without a license or a description. See Image Policy. Also, just reply to this talk page. Leave Ghostbusters Wiki out of it.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  19:40, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
About the Ghostbusters page, the link sent me there, so that's why I copied the message in here, for making things easier.
The image is just cut from the character original sheet of Lion-O in PNG format. No copyright law is broken in there (I'll make sure of doing that image permission thing from now on with the "multipleupload" tool, thanks. Sorondil (talk) 20:00, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
It's not about copyright. It straight up looks bad. You need to read what I said above...
"''For the 80's incarnation, see [[Character Name]].''" are not done anymore. Please see the Guidelines for 1985 ThunderCats (original series); fields "Version" and "Alt Version" were added. They replace the text at the top.
That is how to do that. I am asking you slow down and read before editing anymore. You are not improving the wiki by ignoring policy.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  20:05, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Alright. So "add copyright" per image. Understood, loud and clear. Is there anything else I'm omitting to do? I'll wait for the ban unlock, no worries. Just to clarify, I'm not doing vandalism, I'm trying to help and learn in the process, since i'm new in editing within this wiki. (Sorondil (talk) 20:09, May 14, 2020 (UTC))
What do you mean by "Alt Version"? Is it "altered version of the original image" or another issue I'm not considering properly?. Sorondil (talk) 20:11, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Let's try this, look over the guideline pages. (Guidelines for 1985 ThunderCats (original series)).  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  20:14, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Tabbers or tags

Stop adding Tabbers everywhere. You seem to not want to work with the wiki but against it. Bold changes is bad.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  20:12, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Alright. But it does help a lot. If the rule book is against it, I'll stop doing it (unless told otherwise). And by the way, the profile banner of every character, weapon, toy or vehicle (in red) was changed in every single page I used the tabber. So it's not lack of work. I prefer to be told what i'm doing wrong so that i can improve myself to be of a better assistance. Sorondil (talk) 20:15, May 14, 2020 (UTC)
Tabbers like any other tool really should only be used when called for. I'm seeing things like "2011 (1)" and "2011 (2)" and it is for a few images. This Wiki isn't looking for new changes to the gallery structure. Answers are already in use. What this wiki really needs is for fans to just explain elements and stories. Formatting means nothing and is only a distraction if you are not going to add text content. Like for instance, Sword of Omens (ThunderCats Roar) is overall a good read. It doesn't follow formatting unfortunately, but the text content is good (other than the oddball Bold text). What this wiki needs is a focus on adding more text content, not changing formatting.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  20:28, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Un-blocked

I un-blocked. Please take it easy, do less formatting, and more plain adding text content. Please don't go crazy re-formatting again.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  20:43, May 14, 2020 (UTC)

Is everything ok? I'm blocked again. I reloaded all the images and the two pages I edited have new content. No new tabbers were added.Sorondil (talk) 00:43, May 15, 2020 (UTC)

Block for two weeks

I've lost my patience with you. You ignored the image policy, you are over sizing images in galleries, you seem to not care about the wiki at all. Go.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  00:44, May 15, 2020 (UTC)

Please chill out. I did not know it was forbidden to over size format images (see? it's just a matter of telling me). All images have licence now. If it's OK with you, I can restrain myself for adding images for a while, since it is not my intention to go against the wiki policy. And, blocking me for two weeks, are you sure it is the right way to go? I can go for adding mostly text content, it's fine for me.Sorondil (talk) 00:48, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
No, you ignored me the whole time. I have tried to work with you but you have no ability to work with others. You have left me with a mess of bad edits. That I have to clean up. Thanks. Are you done yet? How much more of my time you want to waste? Cause I'd rather be making new content than to have to cleanup formatting on articles.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  00:54, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
Also, now that I have cooled off enough for a better reply, I did post a link on this talk page for the Image Policy. No I'm not here to babysit. I pointed you to links to places to read, but you ignored. Is this like your first ever Wiki to edit at or something? Cause I'm struggling here. No I can't keep watching behind your back every time you edit. You need to get with the program. The same thing would happen at any other Wiki. Small edits is usually what new editors do at wikis. Not mass edits.  Devilmanozzy (Talk Page)  01:10, May 15, 2020 (UTC)
Devilmanozzy, I hope you chilled off, that's good. Still, there's no much to say, if I'm still restrained to have the opportunity to contribute here. I wish you to continue to keep up the great job you're doing with this wiki. Peace out. Sorondil (talk) 19:11, May 15, 2020 (UTC)

Request for reconsidering ban

Hello Devilmanozzy, I was trying to add new info on the vehicles sections and, my mistake was ignoring the *DEFAULTSORT* tag part. Sorry about that. Now I understood I should not touch them, but, are you sure banning me for that long is OK? I was trying to be of help. Could you please reconsider the ban time (maybe 2 weeks?). I hope you do, since I'm not planning to put gibberish on pages. I wish you the best in the Wiki. I wish you the best. Peace. Sorondil (talk) 02:16, July 13, 2020 (UTC)
