‘’The Shifter" is the sixty-fourth episode of ThunderCats (original series). Vultureman invents a new weapon that transfers Snarf's body with Panthro's mind.
Summary[]
Vultureman creates a device that shifts minds and bodies. He gives Panthro Snarf's body, and gives Snarf Panthro's Body. He also shifts Lion-O and Wilykat, and thus makes the Sword of Omens unusable. Eventually, Vultureman shoots the sword, and it causes a reaction that restores all the Thundercats to their rightful bodies.
Moral[]
Trivia[]
The infamous "samoflange" (also spelled "samophlange") outtake came from this episode. Specifically, it came from a scene where Panthro (in Snarf's body), trying to help Snarf (in Panthro's much larger body) drive the ThunderTank, says, "And keep your foot off that blasted somo flange!" (per subtitles; the word has also been heard as "salvo flange" or "servo flange"), referring to a part of the tank's interior.
