Leo and the Tech Stone.
The Tech Stone is one of the four ancient Power Stones previously under the control of Mumm-Ra before his defeat. The stone has the ability to improve technology, power machines and equip its user with powerful armor.
After Mumm-Ra's enslaved races overthrew him, they divided up the power stones amongst the races. The Tech Stone was given to the Bird race. With it they were able to overcome the fear of technology they had, and used it to further their society to advanced levels. And they used it to create the floating city in the sky Avista, which is kept afloat by the power of the stone.
