Commander Stargazer is the Commander of the SilverHawks. A older fellow with a over 300 year record of keeping order in Limbo in the SilverHawks series. He usually stays at HawkHaven, giving orders behind his desk.

Stargazer seems to be from Chicago[2] predating Limbo. He has been out in Limbo some 300 years, and was the one to get Mon*Star back to the Penal Planet after his first break. It is hinted at in many places during the series that he was about to retire, when Mon*Star got free again.

Because of his age and disposition, he seems to be somewhat old and cranky. He mostly plays a support and mentor role to the younger Silverhawks, but is still capable of getting into the thick of things and coming out on top.

Physical Description

He has a golden olive colored SilverHawk suit. Notably more yellow tint gold than Hotwing. He is overall a basic function SilverHawk, likely sharing a great deal with fellow older SilverHawk, Condor. He also shares the same limitations as Bluegrass as well. He has one built in feature which is his left eye has been replaced with telescopic lens, which he tends to use to react. He is always seen wearing his plain 1930/1940's era detective dress with a white button shirt, dark brown necktie, red suspenders holding up slate grey slacker pants, and black boots.

Powers and Abilities

Commander Stargazer is a professional detective and officer of the law. His expanded life span has given him a depth of knowledge and experience that truly makes him a formidable opponent. He has an arsenal of weapons and equipment gathered over the centuries to deal with most threats. Stargazer is an older model of Silverhawk cyborg, with no wings or built in weapons. He still possesses enhanced physical abilities and the increase in longevity of the other SilverHawks. In addition, his telescoping, camera lens like eye gives him advanced vision.  However, he lacks any means of built in transportation or weapons to defend himself. He compensates with being an excellent shot with a hand gun and a skilled rider on top of his space cycle, which has a built in blaster.

  • He is only character to appear in all sixty-five episodes of the series.
  • It wasn't brought up, but it can be surmised that his eye piece was added after being fitted with his SilverHawk suit, as it looks to have been added and doesn't have the gold color the rest of his SilverHawks suit has.
