Mumm Ra is the devil-priest on Third Earth.
History[]
Shortly after the arrival of the ThunderCats on Third Earth, Mumm Ra felt the presence of the Eye of Thundera as it's power woke him up. After the Sword of Omens was destroyed by Slithe, Mumm Ra felt the power going away and asked the spirit of the deceased Jaga what did he do with it.
As the Reptilians from Slithe's army traveled the Desert of Sinking Sands in search for a new base, the army of Mutants sunk into the sands after finding the Black Pyramid, with Mumm Ra finding their corpses moments later, believing them to be a gift from Jaga.
While sitting on his throne, Mumm Ra demanded the spirit of Jaga to speak, as he grew tired of his constant silence. He was briefly tricked by the spirit to get close so that Jaga could spook him.

Mumm Ra has the power to throw powerful energy bolts that can wound Thunderians like Tygra and are even powerful enough to overwhelm the Thunder-Cutter. He also resurrected all the Reptilians that sinked on his sands, turning them into his mindless slaves.
