The Mirage is the main vehicle the SilverHawks, used for the teams transport. It is used through out the series SilverHawks.
History[]
In the pilot episode, it is shown as the vehicle that transports the SilverHawks team from Earth to the Limbo galaxy. First getting the team from Earth to their new home for the next five years, HawkHaven; it is piloted by Bluegrass.
Powers and Abilities[]
Mirage has the ability to carry its pilot & four others in pods that they can launch from. There are 2 lasers mounted just outside of the inner pods for defensive purposes. It has 4 engines & expells a rainbow exhaust when going to afterburner.
Mirage has an Emergency Chute Brake to help regain control when in a spin or other uncontroled manuever.
The cockpit has a seat for the pilot along with a control yoke, video diplays & control buttons. No co-pilot seat is available. The central display, most often shows video representations of Bluegrass' guitar playing.
It has a backup system to launch the occupants from the pods when power is lost, however this can be sabotaged by accessing the equipment bay on Mirage's top left hand side, as seen in Flashback.
Mirage can seperate into 2 seperate spacecraft, the carrier wing containing the 4 transport pods, lasers & primary engines & a small 1 person transport called Hot-Seat. Upon seperation the carrier wing can disappear or cloak on command.
