Brutemen are a tribe of unintelligent, anthropomorphic creatures resembling the hammer-headed bat and indigenous to Third Earth.
History[]
The Brutemen were under the control of the Mutants which forced them to be slaves for the Mutants and build Castle Plun-Darr. WilyKit and WilyKat saw what was going on and told their fellow ThunderCats. Ro-Bear-Bill then explained in better detail what the Brutemen are. The Brutemen were then ordered to build a barricade for the ThunderCats as they were coming. The Brutemen were then locked up in the Mutants dungeon in Castle Plun-Darr. Then when Lion-O tried to release them, Slithe threw a Warp Gas at them, making them angry. They attacked Panthro and then went outside the Castle. The gas then wore off, so Slithe threw another at them. Lion-O used the Sword of Omens shield ability and that created wind and blew the warp gas towards the Mutants. They ran back into Castle Plun-Darr and after a few more seconds it wore off for the Brutemen. Lion-O proclaimed they were free, and they left.
Powers and Abilities[]
Brutish—yet docile, the Brutemen are not warriors. However, their lack of intelligence makes them susceptible to mind-altering substances. Under such influence they can make intimidating opponents and are capable of overwhelming enemies by number.
