Bernard Hoffer is a Swiss-born American composer and conductor. He was the composer to the music for ThunderCats, SilverHawks, and TigerSharks. His music was also used in ThunderCats Roar.

Career

In his early years he received musical training at the Dalcroze School in New York, then later studied composition at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. Hoffer worked as the arranger for the U.S. Army Field Band of Washington, D.C., and later became a freelance musician. He has also done conductor work for several musical shows. He, however, is best known for his music related contributions to Rankin/Bass.
